The Wilmington, NC Azalea Festival events are viewed by more than 1,000,000 people every year in person and through media coverage. The parade itself will attract more than 100,000 spectators! Circus at the 2015 Azalea Festival in Wilmington, NC
The Cole Bros. Circus Big Top is a popular North Carolina Azalea Festival event. Enjoy costumed characters, acrobatics, downs, and more! The 2014 festival will feature elephants, camels, motorcycle maniacs in the Globe of Death, aerial gymnasts, and The Human Canonball. Enjoy chills, thrills, and laughter at The World’s Largest Circus under the Big Top.

Azalea Garden Tour
The Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tour has been featured in Southern Living and is one of the longest running and most popular garden tours in the South. Enjoy the Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Garden Tours April 11 – 13, 2014 at the North Carolina Azalea Festival.

Street Fair
Enjoy this FREE event with your entire family! The North Carolina Azalea Festival Street Fair features over 200 arts and craft vendors, 40 food vendors, 4 stages, and a children’s area. The North Carolina Azalea Festival 2014 Street Fair will be held April 11 - 13, 2014!

The North Carolina Azalea Festival Parade features floats, marching units and bands, clowns, horses, the Azalea Queen and her court, and more. This year’s Azalea Festival Parade will be held April 12, 2014 from 9AM to 12PM!

Visiting Ships

Queen’s Coronation
The Queen’s Coronation is an annual Azalea Festival event where the Queen is officially crowned the North Carolina Azalea Festival Queen Azalea. Guests will have a chance to meet the Queen and celebrity guests including City Officials, Cape Fear Garden Club Azalea Belles and more. The river walk is an excellent place to watch the Official party disembark from Henrietta III which is North Carolina’s largest riverboat.
